Push to Talk is a feature designed to initiate a one- or two-way conversation between two users. The call is automatically answered on speakerphone by the receiving phone. By default, Push to Talk is blocked for all users, but this setting can be adjusted in a user's preferences.

To use push to talk:

  1. Dial *50 from your phone.
  2. When you hear dial tone again, enter the extension to communicate with and push #.
  3. A long beep tone will indicate the start of the push to talk session.
  4. Hang up your line to end the session.
